Wish list
My wife says I’m hard to buy presents for. I disagree.
I’m a simple man, of simple pleasures. If you’re one of my family members or friends, looking to give me a gift of some sort, it really is easy.
✅ I very much appreciate…
Coordinated surprises and quality time (my primary love language) with my dearest friends
Being treated to a nice meal or experience somewhere—experiences are always better than stuff in my book
Donations to worthwhile causes on my behalf—I have more than enough
Thoughtful words of affirmation—life is found in our words
Whisky, cigars, wine, or any of the other niceties I enjoy—yum
Gift cards to any of my favorite places—again, experiences rock
🚫 Please never buy me…
Knick knacks or other trinkets—they’re a minimalist’s nightmare
Clothes, unless it’s to replace something from my daily uniform—I hate expanding closets
Stuff outside of the wish list above that you haven’t checked with Nicole about—she’s a good gut check
🤯 Or, if you’re being just plain crazy and combining group resources to surprise me…
Contribute toward me completing anything on my bucket list 😲
I would love a matte black Cirrus Press Package 💸 A group of my dearest friends took my word on this one and got it for my 40th—and now I have the best ice press ever
Like I said, I’m pretty simple and I know what I like. Ultimately, though, your presence in my life is the truest gift, and all of these are just cherries on top. Thank you for the gift of you.
